Someone once said that exams are likened to drugs. After the exam when you are supposed to be exhilarated, you suffered from the "hangover effect". Other than an innate joy from the fact that exams are over, there is another kind of feeling, a feeling of emptiness. Maybe we spent too much time thinking about the exams and when it's finally over, it just suddenly seems like something is lost.
"When you see people cry freedom at the end of the last paper, have u ever taken a step back and wonder, what freedom are they speaking of? - When the boundaries are self-imposed in the first place..."
Finals are over. Logically speaking, if you asked me I would say today is the "last" day of my 3 full year in NP, meaning I have graduated from this course at last. However, I still felt a bit worried for my Afa. Hmmm, hope that everyone can smoothly pass every modules. Really treasured the times spent during these three years. The time when we would skipped some not-so-important lectures, the time when we rushed our projects during the last minute like mad, especially for fmgt project, will never forget how we went to mark's house and shoot a video whereby we even sang in it (the lemon tree and story of a girl song). Now thinking back, I still felt like laughing out. Will missed the bus ride to school although it's not a long journey for me. Will missed staying back till late in the night to do projects. Will missed the time when we sit together to talk about our future plans (who'll get married first...), other people (how so and so is like this like that), or just sit around slacking. Will missed the food in C1, C3, SIM, alumni club-house, the sandwiches at atrium, strawberry snow shake and hotdog sandwich at library. Will treasure the dear friends I made in my 3 years of poly life there. Everyone's going in different directions, some planning to further their studies, some working, some taking a break. Maybe for now we might still be organising many many outings and make promises to keep in touch but who knows, one week meet at least one time might soon become one month meet at least one time and as time passed and as we make new friends, guess we will all drift apart, living different lives and soon become that one year meet one time friends. Nevertheless, still very grateful for the friendship they gave me, the helping hand they lend me when I needed. Heehee. Big thanks to you all!!! xD On a happier note, I can finally play games like nobody business now. Gonna get my hand on The Sim2 soon. Hehe. My maple keep prompting me to update the patches and I'm just too lazy to get them.
Change topic. After exam today, we went orchard to shop. Saw some very lovely necklaces and earings which I think will be very suitable for the graduation night but all so expansive. That necklace cost $30 plus and the whole set cost $50 plus. After some thoughts, decided to give it a miss first. Bought lots of things at NAC watson. The sociable sales gal gave my friend and I some free samples to bring home. Think she's the nicest sales gal I ever met in the cosmetic department. Maybe because she's closer to our age. The last time she spent quite some time helping and teaching me how to apply mascara. Most of the older staff either likes to give the cold shoulder or just keep on promoting their brand. Went to makan dinner at the food republic with lis while cindy and ly left first. Wha. The dish was super spicy. After that saw my other friends there too. Very coincident.
Change topic. The supposed to be "for fun" job application I sent out last time gotten a response recently. Am going down for an interview this sunday. Wondered how it'll be like. Kind of excited because I think this would be something interesting to do. Hee.
Change topic. The other day, while studying halfway, I suddenly got the urge to take photos of me without specs. Haha. So faster took my camera and took some pics. These are the last few pics I took with the loaned camera before my father got it change back to my original one. Specless me~ I think look quite different from me with specs. Maybe is due to the lighting or the angle or simply because I got the take-photo mood. You all be the judge. Heehee.
