Usually, the bus trip from my house to school would at most took only 10-15 minutes. Today, there's a bad traffic jam and the whole trip took about 25 minutes or so. Even the bus driver started to mumble to himself. Initially, I thought is some accident that's causing the jam, however when the bus neared my school, on the road just between SIM and Ngee Ann, I saw one police car and some policemen. Three lanes of road suddenly become only one lane. No wonder the bus stuck in the middle for so long. One by one, the policeman stopped every vehicle, including the buses and went up to check. Didn't know the reason at that time, and I thought it is just an exergerated exercise for Total Defence Day. Later on, mum told me that in the morning at Serangoon area, got one chinese guy kena killed by a gunman. That's why the police wanted to find the suspect. Now the suspect is still at large. Scary right?! How come nowadays people in Singapore got gun liao har? That time they found a gunman at the Sun plaza's 4D betting station but lucky he never kill anyone. Now this case so serious that someone actually died from the gun shots lehz. Will Singapore one day become like America, whereby every household shall have a gun to protect ownself and going out is also not as safe anymore?
Collected some of the declaration forms and receipts. Then, passed Cindy her early birthday present by lis, twin, i. Was very glad that she loved it and she seem a bit surprised. Hehe. After that, went for audit make-up tutorial. Today have to present. Those who were called earlier have a choice to choose the questions, too bad I was the last person liao, so have to present the longer question since nobody wanna choose that. After class, stayed back to look at the class fund breakdown. Someone has done up the accounts in quite a pro manner, breaking them down into sections. However, at the end, compared to my friends only mine and a few others showed a negative amount, thus chairman asked if I had paid, which I had. Was quite touched when ling stood up for me, insisting that I had already paid, so it shouldn't be negative at all, haha. In the end, chairman assured me that I'm safe after confirming with treasurer. Had quite a commotion going on but actually, i got not much comments la, at least they still like showed some evidences though not finalised yet and got breakdown to let us see though I bet nobody can understand. At least think we still have extra money and can take back that amount.
After school, our tutor asked us what's our plans after graduation. I faster say SIM although in my mind, I'm still at a loss. Didn't want to say "I dunno" since everyone else all seemed so ready to give her an answer. Still comparing the pros and cons between studying and working. These two options are just too extreme le. Unlike last time graduating from secondary. Only need to choose what course, school is either SP or NP for me. Sigh. It's so different now. She assured us that an Accountancy Diploma is safe at compared to a BS diploma which have a higher risk since it's neither here nor there.
After that, trs, ling, i were deciding where to go for lunch. We ended up at Clementi's Pizza Hut. Coincidentally, at the bus stop, saw Zw. So he also joined us. Haha. We ordered the group meal and waited until 1.30pm to place our order so that we can get the student discount. LOL. Nice meal, nice chat. Heard their stories on attachment and so on. After that, went big bookshop to buy stationeries and went to meet mum.
