Today is the day 'O' Level results is released. Bro didn't scored well enough to get into the course he wants which is the course I'm in now. His result can only get him into those IT or engineering courses which he said he didn't have an interest in so he don't wish to spend 3 years studying something he don't like. Was a bit surprised at how firm he is in his choice and also shocked that he likes accounts so much. Realised that NP has a higher standard in the business courses. Np's BIT course was not within the list which he could opt for but he still can choose SP's BIT.
Anyway, I think this system is a bit ineffective all along. One who scored A in POA by right should mean that his accounting skill is quite strong. So he should get into the accounting course ma. What for look at the whatever L1R4 that consist of the irrelevant subjects like Humanities and Sciences that pull one's grade down. Get what I mean? Like one person scored A for Biology but because he failed one subject and done badly for a few others which pull down his L1R4 causing him to lost the chance to further study in what he is good at and have interest in. How fair is this?I can only understand why certain course required a pass in english but that L1R4 thingy somehow puzzled me.
