I'm on leave today. Yup. Hehe. Yesterday's carnival was fun. At first it rainned but after we ate our lunch, the weather cleared and it was sunny again! Yay~ We went to the Global Village and visited some interesting booths that showcased cultures and games of other countries. The first booth we went to tells us about Saudi Arabia (Actual full name should be "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). Took part in a small quiz. Since I was quite lazy to find the answer, I asked my frenz to help me. Ly then told me why not just put all TrUe lor. Then I read through the questions and think Okay la, make sense to put all true so I agreed. Ended up when the guy announced the answers, they were really all true. Haha. Hope we can win a prize la. Maybe can have a chance to visit Saudi Arabia wor. The next booth is the Korea booth. I guess we spent the most time in that booth. Korea ma. It is the country we would love to visit next time. Took a survey and got a free fan. Played their games too. I scored not bad and won myself a keychain and pins. Nice~
~~The Korean Game~~
Walked further down and saw some artworks. There were all beautifully painted. Further down the road and we came to a stall selling hats. Don't know why, the three of us decided to stop and try on some of the hats. Initially, I spotted one which I liked a lot, but it wasn't suitable for me. Ly found a pink jap-like hat and it was like especially made for her when she tried it on. Maybe all things that were pink were suitable for her. Lis looks quite nice in those sporty caps. Hee. After a while, I just anyhow took a red jap-like hat and worn it, who knows I look quite nice it in wor. So without much hesitation I decided to buy that le.
Mid-afternoon, we walked out and ended up in the militery section. The feeling is like going to another Army Open House. Lis and I got our faces painted. Mine was simple. Two strokes on both side of my cheeks while Lis got herself a flower on one side.
Evening time, we went in to the Concert by the Bay to catch the live telecast of the Parade @ Padang. Though we wasn't there at Padang, we got a goodie bag too. We choose a nice spot near the big screen on the grass patch. The place is so big I can even lie down there lor. Hee~ Wasn't quite concentrating on the parade as we were busy taking photos and trying on our Bandanna in different ways. Learnt some simple dance steps from the motivators but couldn't quite remembered it. Got very very excited when it was time for the fireworks. In fact, we were the lucky ones. We got to watch fireworks from Padang and from Marina. So it means we got twice the fireworks to watch. Don't know why but felt a sense of GanDong-Ness when the fireworks appeared. Maybe I felt that there were just so near me only. Right in front of my face like that wor. Wahaha! Love all the classics ones and also the star in circle ones.

Night time, we stayed on to watch the concert. First performance was by Qiu Ze. Hmm, I thought he sang those lovey dopey songs one but then he started singing rock songs much to my surprise. I was like shocked. Eh, since when Qiu Ze sing rock songs?!! The other performace I also don't care much. Waited for my Project Superstars six finalists to come. Wei Lian, Wei Jian, JunYang, Kelly, Xing Hui, Silver. WeE~ They sang my favourite Lao Shu Ai Da Mi~ After they finished singing, the crowds started to disperse too. Hmm.
