I was out to the MOM today again. This time round is to help a client to apply for a temporary employment pass since she has already arrived in Singapore and is commencing work soon. However, the officer took a look at her application and told me that they cannot approve of her application. When I asked her why is that so, she gave a lame reply saying that the criteria of applying the temp pass cannot be revealed to the public in case everybody wants to apply for that. Somemore it is on a case to case basis and we will tend to the more urgent case. Blar Blar Blar. What's so difficult of approving a temp pass? People already in Singapore and need to start work le ma. Haix. After much questioning with the officer, she finally gives in and allows her to extend her stay in Singapore till 18 of August. Sigh. Make things hard for me as well as for my senior since she need to explain the whole story to the client.
