There's new faces to our level. Now sitting beside me is an Indian guy and next to him is a chinese guy who came today. The guy who used to sit beside me is back too but changed seat le. Haha. Finally got some guys at our level but in different department. The guy came in the morning. I look at him, and dunno why, just felt very excited, and keep smiling. He was also smiling and in a very friendly manner said "hello". Hehe. Self-intro a bit and I felt my face burning. Must be his smile. Haha. I got this soft spot of guys looking at me directly and flash a toothy smile at me. Quite frequent, I'll blush, especially if the other party is also not bad looking. Never talked much to him anyway.
Okay, enough of this "hua chi" stuff le. My camera gives me a headache yesterday. I was angry. I paid the full cost of this camera using my pay and it gives me problem even before a mth of using? Hmph. The problem is my lappie couldn't sense the USB when I inserted it in. So after work, met up with my parents and went back to the shop and asked them what to do. They tried connecting, but also to no avail. Was told that the problem lies with the software itself. It's to install the new drive for Window 98 and SE only. Not for Window XP. Coz they thought that Window XP automatically can sense any USB port inserted so no need any software. However, this was not the case. The lappie can sense the drive, but cannot identified. Then, I asked them, so how come the previous attempts I can upload my photos lei? They couldn't give me an answer either. Haha. Left with no choice, one staff copied all my photos into a CD-R and asked me to edit from there temporary. Lucky, mum asked the consultant of the shop to come. He had more power there, I guess. When he learn't about my problem, he took a memory card reader and wanted us to buy. My father was in a horror. Haha. He said one thing, "We bought this camera coz u all said it is competible with our com. Now it couldn't work and u still want us to buy more things?" I think he said this in a very firm tone. The consultant initial plan to sell us at a cheaper price change to giving us for free right after my father said this. Haha. Lesson learnt. Always bring a strong looking guy along in this kind of situation. Anyway, their services were great. They spent quite some time attending to me. Even joke around. One guy's hp's ringtone is the door closing signal of the MRT, "Beep Beep Beep, Beep, Beep, door closing." He said that next time when the MRT doors open, he'll play this ringtone and then everyone will rushed in, and he himself will walked in slowly. Funny right?! Oh ya, the memory card reader was user friendly. Now I just need to take out the memory card and put it in the reader and connect to my lappie like thumb drive. Only con is that I might lost my memory card since I have to take out and put in quite often. Just glad that problem is solved le. Big thanks to the nice, friendly, joking staff at Harvey Norman @ Funan.
