Out of the office to this place known as Canadian High Commission to collect two letters. These two letters are no ordinary letters I tell you. They cost S$132!!! Imagine how many things can be bought with this amount. Shocking right?! Cannot really remember the content of the letters, only know that it's just two pieces of paper. Anyway, the security there is super tight. Before I went in, a policeman was standing at the door and asked me what's my purpose before I can enter. Stepped inside and the decorations there really attracted me, so thinking that I've brought along my camera, I shouldnt waste a chance of taking photos. I bravely asked the same guy, "Erm, Can I take a photo here?" His reply, "You dare to take? I shoot you ar." Wahaha, the way he said this was so funny, I ended up laughing. While waiting for the person-in-charge to come out, we chatted. He asked me where I'm from, so I told him my company's name and he thought that I'm a lawyer there. Haha. So told him I'm a student attached there. Blar blar blar until the person-in-charge came out. Another thing, when I wanted to pay for the two letters, I have to slot the money into a side opening, which means there's no way I can have contact with the person's inside la. Very strict lor. Before leaving, we shake hands and exchanged names. Really nice meeting him. Oh ya, the taxi driver who drove me there was also quite friendly. Half the time, he's telling me about how he wished to retire soon and move to M'sia. I blur blur say, you not scare go M'sia got pple robbed u meh? Then, he answered, "you ar, you think Singapore no crimes meh? Just that S'pore is small enough for the govt to control whereas M'sia so much larger than S'pore. Also, you go there can keep a low profile one ma, dont need to go there and show off one. Dun wear what rolex la... etc" He was right la, so most of the time I'm agreeing to what he's saying. He also said that S'pore life is too hectic. Every morning u wake up, it's off to work time, work until evening then go home and already so tired that u jus wanna slp and this kind of days just repeats itself for five consecutive days. So enjoyed chatting with him until I reached my destination lor.
PS: Heard something interesting about my company. It's a shh-shh thingey that I think not many pple knows so I shouldn't reveal it here. Hehe. Hope to be going out more often. :]
