My senior asked us out for lunch. Eat at Han's. Another new place we found yesterday which is near banquet. Thought why all of a sudden she wanna lunch with us. Told us a lot about her life as an intern before us. Then she slowly show her motive of wanting to lunch with us. Turned out to be the seniors were discussing about why we were often late for work and leaving off earlier than the rest. So out of goodwill, they sent a representative to "warn" us about how we should behave.
No 1. We should not be laughing/talking loudly as there are lots of lawyers around No 2. We should be in the office on the dot and leave a few minutes later. (Our sitting place is near the toilet, that's why people will know roughly what time we reached) No 3. On friday, the lastest we can take to reach office is 930pm No 4. No listening to music using your earpiece
Sounds like some rules huh?! Guess we were really treating this place like our home. I mean if she never enlightened us, I still thought that nobody bothers and we can do anything we like as long provided that we are serious in our work la. Somemore, this is not the first time we listen to music, we were late and so on, we have already been so used to making ourselves feels at home le, now want us to changed. Sigh. Then she told us something, "They might not told you when you are wrong, but in the evaluation, you won't know what they'll write about? So always give a good impression." Sort of spoilt our mood for the rest of the day. Don't dare to talk much also. Suddenly everything and everyone around us become so serious, so quiet.
After work, met up with my frenz, eat at Lau Pa Sat. Went down Swatch @ PS to collect my fiknatic fan club goody bag, consisting of $20 gift voucher and a membership card. Saw Mrs Hon, my eng teacher then. She is one of the most wonderful teacher who makes english lesson so interesting as she told us her life stories. Greeted her. I think she had no idea who I am le. She said, "I rmb her(my frenz) more because I knows her mum." Hmm. How can a person rmb another person more? Rmb means rmb, dun rmb means dun rmb. Haha. This is being polite ba. Not very good to say, "Erm... who are u ar? I dun think I taught u b4." That will sounds so hurting. Anyway, it's understanable too. Imagine how many classes she had taught before. How can she remembers every single pupils?! A teacher will only remember his/her students either because they are the most talkative, or because they are the naughty ones. We chatted a bit. She asked what course we took, where I'm attached to. All the usual questions la. Oh ya, she's there to watch the movie Mr and Mrs Smith with her husband. Never saw her husband though.
