Firday Night. A time to unwind after a long week of working. Thus, went clubbing with my friends for the first time out of my 19 years of living! Lucky we were accompanied by experienced frenz. Hehe. Cost 12 bucks to go in and we were entitled to a housepour each. The taste of the drink is not nice at all. So bitter. Lucky, the ice-cubes made the drink more drinkable. Manage to finish half-a cup. Don't understand why some people say it's a good way to drink and get drunk when you are feeling low. Have they not heard of this saying, "Jie Jiu Xiao Chou, Chou Gen Chou"? Maybe when you get drunk, you might forget everything, but what happens when you become sober? Isn't it back to square one? Anyway, after putting down our drinks, we went to the dance floor since we don't have a table to sit down and the motive of going there is either to drink, dance, or watch. Since we can't really drink, and we can't find a good spot to watch, so the next thing to do is to dance lor. Very unsure of what to do initially. Don't know how to dance, don't dare to move, just stand there and talk. Tried observing how others dance first. Those on the stage were super pro. Their dancing is so full of life. WhaO~ They are my role-model! Not forgetting the pole-dancing spice gals which attracted quite some people too. Slowly, after adapting to the environment, my friend and I started to dance to the music too. Haha. Thinking back, I felt that I must have looked so silly. I must have look like I'm jogging or what with my hands moving like that. Cannot blame. Don't have the talents to dance. But the good thing is it's quite dark inside, and everyone's minding their own business, dancing in groups, so they don't really have time to look at how you dance one la. Just get into the mood, move with the tempo of the loud music and it's quite fun actually, can make you forget of your troubles. The atmosphere gets higher and higher as the night gets darker. The Deejay there also played a part in creating the atmosphere, he'll say things like, "put your hands up in the air/ your turn to sing now...". At one point the Deejay even played chinese songs. There's this familiar, "Tua Diao" (reminds me of alvin) and "Lao Shu Ai Da Mi"(Current fav).
PS: Took NR 8 home. Lucky this bus can bring me to my interchange. Whole body smelled of cigeratte. Haix. Faster took a long bath but the smell still seems to linger. Mum was so interested to know how the inside looks like that she asked me so many questions. From whether there's fighting to whether there's any guys asking us for our phone numbers not. Answered all her questions and we actually had a long chat. Haha.
