Enjoyed myself @ Snow City with my two very on frenz - elisa and sk. Haha. Our very first time there! Thanks to dear elisa for this special once a year privilege that we can went in at a super special rate! UP: $12+ Now: $3.50 ONLY! And she even got it free but still she shared the amt with us making it only $2+ (Inclusive of jacket and boots). =D Thanks gal~ On the way there, we were joking about whether we'll get so cold that our nose, ears or even teeth fall out. Haha. A bit lame la but still elisa and I laughed all the way and sk had to pretend that he didn't know us.
After changing into the winter costume (that made us look fatter), the staff there ushered us into the main place. The moment we went in, we already felt a gush of cold wind. Took many photos first. Sk tried to crushed the snow, wrong, sld be ice and throw them up to make a snowing effect. So I follow suit. Wrong move. My gloves were different from his. Mine is for skating and it's cloth la. So the ice become water and make my hand felt colder as the gloves got wet. Next, elisa and I put on the safety helmet and grab the float-like tyre and we climbed the stairs and started sliding down. Wee~ Fun, fun, fun!!! Simply love this feeling. Sk din dare to try but aft much persuasion, he joined in the fun too. Only managed to slide a few rounds before our one hour is up. Also good la, there's nothing much to do except sliding and it's getting colder and colder inside that our hands are redded, our mouth are a bit numb and all 3 of us get running noses from the coldness! Hee~
Went out, thought there's nothing else to see le. But no lor, still got a small little exhibition. Inside got exhibit on what the Eskimo eat and the weapons used and I think I saw Brands' Chicken Essence as one of their food shown. Interesting huh? Then, there's two rooms. One is a hot room and the other a cold room. Think is to let pple have a feeling on how it feels like to live in extreme hot and cold climates. We went into the hot room and felt so comfortable. Like going sauna.
After that, we walked to science centre there de kinetic outdoor park. There's a huge fishy windmill, some interesting stuff. Then, it started to rain and we took shelter inside the science centre. Sat at a bench there. Sk started his philosophy on marriage and psychology. Hmmm. Half-listening, half dreaming away. =X oOpS! But those part I listened I think quite make sense and is something which I dun expect him to say. Went into the shop at sci centre. Bought a clapping hand and a rather unique pencil. One half is pencil. The other is a tube full of stones. When the rain is not so big, we went to IMM. Bought food to eat and went home. Just in time to catch "At the Dolphin Bay". =)
