1st... 1st... 1st... DaY wOrKinG!!!
Call me Kiasu, call me silly. Reached Raffles Place 40 mins earlier. Haha. Just nice to see stel and ling at MRT station since they start work at 8.30am. Walked around and saw Shimin too. Hee. Ideal place to spot pple who's going for attachment.
The first thing priscilla and I (we are the only two going there as attachment, so really have to "xiang yi wei ming" le) had to do at the office is to fill in a form for our particulars. Next, we were being brought around the office for an intro tour. Think I only rmb 4- 5 pple's name ba. There's June, Huda, Roslan, and our big boss, Mr Abdul, but we never get the chance to talk to our big boss today la.
Today's work includes mainly on the filing of documents. Black files for bills. Blue files for Correspondent. Need to sort a huge stack of documents in alphabetical order before we punch holes and search for the respective files. Easier said than done. Hate to do the part on sourcing for the files. The shelves are large lor, with many many files on it. See until blur blur. Somemore if the files are full, we need to start a new file and had to do the cover page and get the file from the utilities room. Lunch at Burger King. Not familiar with the place there. Wanted to eat something cheaper like hawker but too lazy to explore. Both of us were complaining about the stoopid heels hurting our feet like hell. So at Burger King, my frenz did something great. Haha. She asked the person next to us to give us some coupons. Haha. Den we not only tear two lor. We still tear an extra 4 pieces in case next time we wanted to eat this again. Haha. My this frenz is super funny one lor. Loves to laugh a lot like me. But she wins me since she everytime laugh so loud. Den always make silly faces one. Wahaha. After lunch, went back do more filing. We said that we must finished by today and we really did~ Yes. So remaining time, we were asked to do photocopying and slack till 6pm.
PS: Oh ya, we have dress-down day on friday too!! Yay. That means can wear jeans~ Lalala. So fortunate. Somemore, each and everyone of us has a computer each that only we can access coz need our password. Even have our own work email address. It's been created for us le. Surf through their disscussion board and it's rather lively. The staff there will post some funny videos la, meaningful e-mails, etc. So if chop chop finished work can take a break. One downpoint is that, there's no nice scenery like what I expected lor. Facing the computer only. Lucky my frenz sits next to me and we can chit chat if not sure cannot survive the long hours de. Still working life's not easy. Wearing heels squeezing in crowded MRT, Doing the same thing over and over, long working hours. That's enough reasons not to like working life le.
