Myopia - A visual defect in which distant objects appear blurred because their images are focused in front of the retina rather than on it.
Myopia, statistic shown that there's an increasing number of singaporeans who has gotten it. So if u belongs to the other category, den I'll hav to congrate u~
Have been stuck to wearing specs from the day I turned 10. That's 8 yrs le. If only I've listened to all those warnings, maybe, I would have perfect or almost perfect eye-sight today. But I din. The fact that I've enough of wearing specs drove me to Queensway S.C to hav my first ever contact lens made. Asked my frenz, elisa along to giv me some support. Thought that it couldn't be that difficult ba, jus a piece of plastic only ma, only hav to put it on the surface of ur eye ball. But then, I was wrong. Tried so many times yet still couldn't master the skill of putting on the contact lens let alone say taking out. So, hav to seek help from the experts - salesperson and my frenz. The many tries of putting on the contact lens made my eyes felt so watery and and sleepy too, so cannot open my eye biG biG de... Anyway, found lots of shops selling stuff that are real cool and Best of all CHEaP. Earings going at $0.90 per pair, tees with designs almost like Pure Milk oR aNimal SquaRe, Etc, going for $10 only!!! Wha... Will hav to go back there again lor~ If I can buy quality stuff at a cheaper price, den what for buy it at a higher price?
PS: Haha, mayb one day, when I hav the time, the courage, the mood, den I'll continue trying. Till that day, think I will still be wearing specs. -O-O-
