Wah... Queue for like 3 hours at the S'pore Expo to look at the sacred Buddha Relic together with my parents. Relics is actually the remains of some part of the body of a deceased saint. It means after they died and had their body cremated, those part that cannot be burnt to ashes will be the relic. Ordinary people won't hav that one lor, only those who had achieve a high level in their practice of Buddhism den hav de or they may hav done a lot of good deeds. Quite amazing la, the tongue, brain, intestines, even muscles, etc also can hav relics de. Next, we even helped bath the small figure of Buddha. Cannot bath the head one lor, have to start from the shoulder. Remember wor. Also, went to pray and offers some flowers and spin the prayer wheel. By spinning the prayer wheel clockwise once, it means that u've chant one type of the Buddhist scripture once. Very interesting findings lor...
Bottom line of this is just to say no matter which religions u believed in or are most closed to, they will always teach u not to commit any bad deeds one la... Do good and u'll be rewarded and I truly believe it.
