WEDNESDAY (18/06/03)
Wake up, received 3 Sms, 2 were from the usual people, the other was from Shimin. She wanted to remind me that today i have to go down to collect the matriculation kit. Of course, I'll remember that. I won''t be that careless to even forget about this important thing huh... Since this exercise is from 12 noon to 4pm, i've decided to take my own sweet time. What's the rush? It's only to take a kit what. So i chatted on the phone, took a long bath. Then she SMS me again, saying that there's some kind of talk going on and it's starting and many people are in the room. Hmmm... Okay, so i rush down thinking it may be something important like showing us around the school. Reached there around one something, (not my fault, i have to cancel appointment, wait for that stupid bus...) When i reached there, I don't exactly know which way to walk. (Me pretend to be clever la, ask my friend not to come) More minutes wasted on trying to find my way to the conventional centre. Huge school. So many times bigger then Secondary school. Finally, found that place. First thing to do was to take temperature. (Yup, it's a MUST), then, went in and collect the kit. Not much people there (Of course, it's 2 pm then. This starts at 12pm, okay.) Then, a guy ask me to go upstairs. I supposed it was to listen to that talk. So i went. Have to go through two large doors before i finally get into the room. And when i was in, what did i saw, all the seats were occupied, only left a space on the floor. Tried to catch a glimpse of who's talking on the stage, but can't. (Pathetic, guess my eyesight is deteriorating, Soon, i might go blind. But who cares. Technology is such a success huh) No point staying there since i can't find Shimin they all. Left after a few minutes. (Brain start to think of some excuses like I want to go to the washroom or something if i get caught, Yah, must be prepared for everything eh) Finally walked out when a gal approched me and asked if there were people inside. Told her Yes, and it's just some boring talk and i'm leaving now. She seem reluctant to go in too. So the both of us just stood there for a few seconds when a Malay guy came up. He walked in through the first door, but didn't went in the second door, then he too left with the both of us. Haha, funny. Then that gal told me she overheard that guy told the NP student the door was locked. (Oh, was it? Haha, Must be lying) Anyway, we were free~ =) Found out that gal lived in Woodland and will be taking Business. (Me forgot to ask her name...=( ) Later, she kept saying she wanted to collect the PE tee. So i felt curious, wasnt the Pe tee that white one. Lucky, i asked, she told me it's not. Went collect it with her. (It was blue in colour, My favourite colour!! And you know, only Ngee Ann got BluE running track leh. Jealous ma? Haha... ) Then, she left while i have to get the laptop loan thingy done. Stupid. Have to searched for the Mel centre now. To cut things short, i've finally get everything done, but still have to make another trip down to get my EZ link card and laptop. Saw this Year 1 guy. Amazing, he knows how to ride a bike. (I didn't spy on him, I'm just being observant~ That's me!) Remind me of that Bobby Chan in Lightyears.
PS: The Matriculation kit contains: one white polo tee, one foolscap (there's a spider web on every page as design, quite special), one pen (i guess i wont use that, prefer my 0.38), One staple, one folder, one CCA guidebook, and many brochures on stuff like hair salon, optical house.
